Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Scholarship

Established by Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to support the education and training of dental hygienists and dental assistants at Macomb Community College to build the future of dental professionals in the community we serve. Summit scholars are selected based on academic record, demonstrated leadership, and dedication and service to their school and community.

• newly enrolled in the Macomb Community College Dental Hygiene (credit) or Dental Assisting (non-credit) program.
• resident of Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, or St. Clair County
• minimum GPA 3.5 each semester of award
• high school or college transcripts required with application
• minimum of 250-word essay explaining why you believe you should be selected for this scholarship including the following: high school achievement awards, extra-curricular activities, work experience and community service
  completed.
• award is for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses
