Nancy Kay Keisler Shamine Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established to honor Nancy Kay Keisler Shamine, a graduate and employee of Macomb Community College, to provide financial assistance to students who share her joy of learning.

• enrolled 1 credit hour or more
• minimum GPA 2.0 each semester of award
• U.S. citizen
• attend at least one semester at Macomb Community College before scholarship is awarded
• pursuing an associate’s degree or enrolled in a transfer program
• award is for tuition, fees and books
• brief biography, including accomplishments, educational and career aspirations, what the award means to the applicant and why he/she should receive it
• renewable, based on application and funds available
• students receiving this award are encouraged, though not required, to share their knowledge, as Nancy did, by becoming a peer tutor or mentor to other students
