Thomas S. Welsh Fund for Public Service and Political Science

Established in 2015 by the Thomas S. Welsh Foundation and the family of Thomas S. Welsh. The purpose of the fund is to provide support to help find conduits to introduce students to leadership in the public sector.

• student must be interested in public service and/or political science
• student must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours
• student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
• awards can be used for tuition, books, fees or educational expenses
• students must write an essay up to 250 words on career and educational goals including how this scholarship would impact them
