Thomas S. Welsh Foundation Scholarship

Established in memory of Thomas and Fern Welsh, this scholarship provides assistance to students enrolled in the Macomb Community College Police, EMS and Fire Academies.

• applicants will be recommended by the Armada, Bruce, Lenox, Ray, or Richmond EMS, Fire or Police Departments
• applicants must submit a brief biographical statement
• applicants must complete 30 hours of volunteer service with the department that is recommending them and provide written documentation of their service
• a letter of recommendation from the sponsoring police chief, EMS administrator or fire department chief must be submitted with application
