James Raymond Martin Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of James (Jamie) Raymond Martin, who was a graduate of Eisenhower High School. He studied Business at Macomb Community College and entered the career of Real Estate at the age of 23. He married Amy Rose Martin in 2015. The two were involved in a car accident in September of that year, where Jamie and their unborn son, Jameson, tragically lost their lives. Jamie was on-day shy of his 27th birthday. Amy Martin survived the accident. Jamie loved kids and donated his organs, saving around 50 lives. This scholarship is available to Macomb Community College students to assist with meeting their educational goals.

  • half-time enrollment (6 credit hours) or more in the Business program with career interest in finance, real estate, and/or entrepreneurship
  • minimum 2.5 or higher GPA (high school or college)
  • applicants must provide a brief summary (250-500 words) of their educational goals and how this scholarship will impact them
  • awards is for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses
  • applicants can reapply for this scholarship
