Cops for Kids-Sullivan/Sulik Memorial Scholarship

Funded by Cops for Kids, St. Clair Shores, to recognize and reward students with a potential to succeed in a career in law enforcement or fire science.

• full-time enrollment (12 credit hours or more) each semester of award
• minimum high school GPA of 2.5 (high school transcript required)
• award is for tuition and fees
• St. Clair Shores resident
• selection based on financial need and commitment to a career in law enforcement or fire science
• renewable, based on application and funds available
• essay on why applicant wants to go into the profession of law enforcement or fire science
• one recipient chosen from each of the three school districts in St. Clair Shores (South Lake, Lakeshore and Lakeview)
• cannot be related to police or fire personnel
• must maintain 3.0 GPA, maintain a clean driving record and have no criminal history while in the program
• selection will be made by the Macomb Community College Public Service Institute
