Monique S. Tooks Scholarship Fund

The scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to support students studying in the automotive technology program at Macomb Community College. This scholarship will assist in getting the next generation prepared for the future of Automotive Education.

• enrolled as a full-time student in the GM Automotive Service Education Program (ASEP Program) or the Automotive Technology Program at Macomb Community College (6 credit hours or more) each semester of award
• minimum GPA 2.8 each semester of award
• must be either a Macomb or Wayne County resident
• award is for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses
• submit 250-word essay explaining answering the following two questions:
  1. What is the motivation to pursue a career in Automotive Technology?
  2. When external challenges arise while pursuing your automotive career, what steps can you implement ensuring your completion of the program?
