Dr. Martin A. Stella Endowed Music Scholarship
Established to honor their dear brother, Martin, Rick and Joe Stella remember, from his early years, that Martin was committed to his vision and dreams. His drive was evident in everything he attempted. From sports to academia, he succeeded to become their family’s highest educated member. He earned his bachelors and doctoral degrees from the University of Michigan‐Ann Arbor and Master of Education degree from Wayne State University. He established several bands and performed for thousands. The commitment of his lifetime would be as a student, teacher, counselor, conductor and professor. This scholarship has been created to provide financial assistance to Macomb students pursuing a career in the music field.
