Pearson Family Foundation Second Chance Endowed Scholarship

The endowed scholarship was established by the Pearson Family Foundation to allow adult learners to received financial assistance to achieve their educational goals, even if they are not eligible for federal financial aid. The award covers tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses or support services.

• applicant is a returning student to Macomb Community College after leaving for two or more years and does not qualify for federal financial assistance.
• half-time enrollment (6 credit hours) or more
• minimum GPA 2.0 each semester of award
• preference is given to students enrolled in Business, Accounting, or Entrepreneurship programs.
• student agrees to meet with a tutor to develop a plan of action to meet educational goals
• student agrees to send a thank you note to the donor
• student agrees to meet with the donor based on availability or to attend the annual Spring Donor Scholarship Luncheon
