Mildred and John Krnacik Endowed Scholarship

Established by Mildred and John Krnacik, retired Macomb English faculty member and retired Macomb administrator, to provide scholarship assistance to students intending to seek a four-year degree in English language and literature, biology or chemistry.

• enrolled in English or American literature, biology or chemistry courses at Macomb Community College
• completed 24 hours of college credit, 12 of which were earned at Macomb Community College
• minimum GPA 3.5 each semester of award
• full-time enrollment (12 credit hours or more) each semester of award
• intend to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a degree majoring in English language and literature, biology or chemistry
• two letters of recommendation from Macomb faculty members, including one from the student’s instructor in English, biology or chemistry
• submit an essay on “Where I Plan to Be in my Career Fifteen Years from Now”
