St. Clair Shores Community Chorus – Music Major Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to Macomb Community College students pursuing a transfer program to a four year college/university…with a major in Music Education, Voice or Performance.

• student must have a major in Music Education, Voice, or Performance
• half-time enrollment (6 credit hours or more) each semester of award
• minimum GPA 2.5 or higher and must maintain this GPA each semester of award (a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above is required in Music courses)
• award is for tuition, fees, books and other educational expenses
• award is renewable based on commitment to educational goals, compliance to scholarship criteria and availability of funds
• student must demonstrate strong vocal talent as well as performance skills that engage and entertain
• student must submit a resume which includes: a brief personal history, music experience and education and career goals
• scholarship applications will be reviewed and recipient(s) selected by the college Director of Choral Activities
