Andrew “Drew” Garcia Information Technology Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in memory of Andrew “Drew” Garcia, who received a degree in Applied Science, Information Technology Network Specialist & Cisco Network at Macomb Community College, which allowed him to have a successful career as a network engineer at Beaumont Health. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing a degree or certificate in one of the Information Technology programs.

• enrolled in an Information Technology program
• completed one semester at Macomb Community College with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• half-time enrollment (6 credit hours or more) each semester of award
• maintain minimum GPA of 2.5 each semester of award
• demonstrated financial need
• renewable based on application
• award is for tuition, fees, and books
