Arlington E. Pullins Scholarship
Established by the family of Arlington E. Pullins, this scholarship is designed to assist students who wish to pursue any number of arts disciplines, but more specifically, in the discipline of History.
- open to students pursuing a degree in Speech Communication, Humanities, or Social Science disciplines
- incoming high school and transfer students are eligible
- half-time (6 credit hours or more) each semester of award
- minimum GPA 2.5 each semester of award
- award may be renewed each Fall, upon reapplication, as long as qualifications are maintained
- applicant must submit a 250-300-word essay, “What is the importance of understanding history, or any of the social science disciplines, with respect to your society”?
- award is for tuition, fees, books, and other college-related expenses
