William Boyke and Susan Dillon Endowed Scholarship for Art & Design
Established in memory of William “Bill” Boyke and his beloved daughter, Susan Dillon. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to students studying art and design at Macomb Community College. Bill, a Civil Engineer with a passion for life drawing and abstract painting, raised his family in Macomb County. Susan inherited her father’s love for art and discovered her talents while a student at East Detroit High School. She earned her degree in graphic design from Eastern Michigan University and impacted her community through a successful career as an artist and entrepreneur for over 30 years as co-owner of Graphic Visions, Inc. with her husband.
- student must be enrolled in one of the following courses at Macomb Community College:
o Media and communication arts courses (MACA courses)
o Fine arts courses (ARTT courses)
o Architectural design (ARCH courses) - minimum GPA 2.5 each at time of application
