Marie Rees Macombers Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by family and friends in loving memory of Marie Rees to continue her legacy of support for the Macombers at Macomb Community College. Marie Rees was by far the biggest fan of the Macombers and followed the lives and careers of former members closely and with great pride. Marie was an indispensable partner in managing the Macombers and the Show Choir Workshop. It was her involvement, student by student, her unpretentious personal charm, and her strong belief in the importance of these and other programs at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts that played a major role in their success during her years at the college.

• minimum GPA 2.0 each semester of award
• letter of recommendation from music instructor
• open to incoming high school students
• award is for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses
