Dr. Raymond McCracken Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This fund was established by friends and family of Dr. Raymond McCraken. Dr. McCracken faithfully served as a long-time dentist and co-owner of Anchor Bay Dental Associates, which served the New Baltimore and Chesterfield communities of Macomb County. Dr. McCracken was remembered as a wise, thorough, kind, and intelligent professional who enjoyed humming his native Scottish songs to make his patients feel at ease. He was dedicated to the dental profession, once serving as the American Dental Association’s regional president. Dr. McCracken was also passionate about dental education and preparing dental professionals for their careers. This memorial scholarship has been set up to help fund those entering the dental profession as dental assistants or dental hygienists; both positions played a critical role in assisting Dr. McCracken in his work.
